Vodafone is empowering customers on it’s “Pay As You Go” service to donate their rewards to a charity of their choice via the For Good Causes platform.

Customers earn points with every TopUp, so the more you top up the more you earn.  It’s  Vodafone’s way of saying “thank you”.

Rewards range from high street vouchers, accessories and additional data and also include the option for customers to choose to make either a £5 or £10 charity donation using their points. Customers receive a code which is used to make a donation on the For Good Causes site.

“Over the last six months Vodafone customers have chosen to donate their rewards to well over 300 different charities” said Crispin Rogers, CEO of For Good Causes.  “This just shows how important choice is.  Because we all care about different causes and often this is as a result of our life experiences, or those of our loved ones.  It’s why “charity of choice” is at the very heart of the For Good Causes story”.

Over 14,000 charities are enabled on the platform.  International, national, regional and local charities across every sector including health, animals, children, veterans, schools, churches, the elderly and the environment, meaning there is something that everyone cares about!

“We’re delighted that Vodafone, as one of the world’s leading mobile communications providers, is Empowering Generosity via the For Good Causes platform.  And we’re even more delighted that over 300 charities have benefited thus far” said Rogers.

And just the week Vodafone customers donated to such an array of animal charities including WWF, Dogs on the Street, RSBP, Fox Project, Dogs Trust, Cornish Seal Sanctuary,  Iris Cats in Need, Hessilhead Wildlife Rescue Trust, British Hedgehog Preservation Society and the Bobtail Rabbit and Guinea Pig Rescue!
